This will be my cam sensor for EFI

Turn a 1/2" thick piece of plexiglass to fit on where the distributor cap fit. Seeing inside would be boring, but a visible moving part is always cool. Jim

not to sound dumb but what is the reason for one missing tooth
I always thought that a cam sensor would have 4-6 or 8 teeth to mark firing points

The missing tooth designates that particular cylinder is TDC on compression stroke ( cam/crank synchronization). A crankshaft position sensor can tell you TDC but not if its on compression stroke or 180* out. The cam sensor info is mainly used to tell EFI when to inject fuel in firing order to specific cylinders on sequential/port fuel injection, not really needed on bank/batch fire, single injector or TBI injection systems.
