How do you get into Archives?

Have not been on here for a while. used to be able to read
archives on a problem people were having the same as i was.
i know i am not very computor literate but i click on Archives & looks like i would have to read 2700 items to get to my problem, every time i click on the only box i have they want to sell me parts? Can anyone tell me how this works
or is this something new. i used to get lots of info without posting questions. Thanks Gene

When you go to discussion forums above red bar there should be an archives button.

I use Classic view - at the very top of the page there is a search box. Type your interest in there and click on "Search". It will narrow your options to something closer to what you're interested in, rather than everything that's ever been posted.

How do you get into Archives?
