I have two Pro Max Gold 12 Volt Batteries. These were rescued out of a Ford F350 Diesel before it hit the bone yard. They are about 15 years old and still do what they are supposed to. I cant find any information about this company. They were located in Monroe Mi. 800 # is not in service. I sure would like to get a couple more of these.

Don't get too excited, where I work we have many trucks that take two or more batteries, when the sets get replaced for one or two failing I would always save the better of them to use at home. I had a few that made it over a dozen years, yet some of the same brand and type had failed in a year from new. It's the luck of the draw I think and in my case I was already presorting them in a way since they had essentially been tested a few years in trucks so naturally the ones that were weak were gone already. Stick with a name brand is your best bet. Although at the same time I have a tiny Kmart battery that has been starting my Ford 3400 for nearly 9 years now,it often sits a month or two and start noproblem even below zero go figure

Yea, good luck with that. The names on the batteries come and go, but the genuine battery manufacturing plants just go, as in "go, went, GONE".

Things have changed a lot in the last 15 years, but I would not expect them to last much longer! We have a JD Strongbox in our 4600 that is almost 12, and still starting it, but I have a spare on the shelf!
