Perkins Engines Just interested

I know you guys had lots of stuff powered by Perkins engines including the Perkins L4 and 270 four cylinder diesel as used in tractors such as Cockshutt. My question is did the Perkins P6 six cylinder diesel ever get used to power tractors or combines your side of the water?

not real familiar with perkins. dont know what P6 is. but my massey 850 combine has the 6 cyl. perkins 354 turbo. the 750 also used this same engine. the early 750 used the 373 non turbo engine.

Can't tell you off the top of my head, which one, but I have my late father-in-law's MF 180, it has a 4 cylinder Perkins. Has been a good engine. FIL had several MFs and they all had dependable engines. Another 180, and a 175, were Perkins. Others, not sure.

Some Perkins engines used to be used in Timberjack logging equipment, both 4 and 6 cylinder models. But since they were bought out by JD now they are using Deere engines. I don't know if they are still assembled in Finland/Sweden or not, the 18 year old ones that my BIL has were.

I think Tucker freight line had some of their cab over White city tractors powered with the L-4 Perkins back in the 70's .
