you got to admit,,its hard to beat an old Oliver!
 
I like it! Question: Why no coulters on the plow? That looks like nice soil the way it turns over. We sold 2 of those plows to 2 brothers behind 1650's and then it dawned on them they could not plow together like they did when they had the 565 plows. What is his reason for a roll-over plower? Around here it was all the pointed fields.
 
that last field is ours,its right behind the house,the neighbor farms it,one of the pictures you can see some bluestone on a skid in the hedgerow
 
I still have that same plow, don't have the 1655 though. I used it a lot behind the 4000 John
Deere. Nice plow. He is doing a good job there. Nice ground, I had a lot of river bottom loam and
cannery crops....James
 
I had a 6342 once. 4 bottom,onland hitch.Only mine was painted blue,sold as a Ford 145. decent plow.
