Yesterday, saturday the West Liberty Ohio festivel tractor show started and I have never seen as many tractors lining up for the parade through dowtown, bands and floats and politicions all. I would guess there were more people out watching the parade than live in the town, ever the 2 & 3 year olds were getting in the spirit of things. On show grounds that is the city park but it is owned and maintained by the Lions club I hear that it was never that full of people before, The tractor pull starts at noon today and I have to be there before 10 to do the registeration for pull. It is strictly for out of field tractors 55 and older. goes by plow class weights are limited to to per rear wheel and no weight or brackets anyplace else. I have a feeling we will have one of the largest pulls ever and not get done by the time we have to quit at 6 for church services to start.

I was one of the "hundreds" of tractors and other machines in the parade. Never did hear an official count, but many folks said it was the biggest crowd they had seen.

After the parade I tried the tractor teeter-totter and was not able to make it balance. I blamed it on gas sloshing back and forth in the tank.

Hot, but a nice day overall.
