Helping a friend out with trying to figure original prices on a few pieces of his dad's equipment. I know there is all kinds of sources for current pricing but he wants to know what they sold new for back in the 1970's and it raises my curiosity. Mostly IH stuff if it matters.

try posting questions about the specific models on the Farmall page. I bet someone will remember what they paid for theirs. Red Power magazine forum would also be a good place to ask about IH stuff.

Try finding a copy of the "Hotline Equipment Guide' as they often list the selling price of the tractors that they have listed. It is a good source of other information horse power, options etc. It also lists the recent auction prices. Ask Google and I bet they can steer you to a source of the Guide.
