OT Farm Insurance Companies in Michigan

Who uses who? I am needing to find a new insurance company, the one I have been using is reasonable, but unreliable, and I can no longer trust they are going to back me up if I ever actually need to file a claim. In the past I have found finding a reasonable farm insurance company has been difficult.

I've used Hastings Mutual through an independent agent for a number of years. Had a couple of minor claims without incident. They offer farm related discounts which keeps them very competitive.

Same here. See an independent agent. They will be able to direct you to an insurance company or several, compare rates, coverages. We too use Hastings Mutual, have for years.

I've got Fremont Mutual out of Fremont. I've had two claims,one for wind and one for a lightening strike that took out the well pump. They paid right up.

We've had Pioneer State for a long time for home/farm/vehicles. They have paid all claims promptly, but then I always paid the premiums promptly too.
