Any one have experience with orkin pest controle

I had a contract with them for one year. They did a good job for me. At renewal time the local man no longer worked for them (long story) and the price seemed to go up significantly. If I had a specific problem I would not hesitate to call them again. Don't know how their price(s) compare to other companies but their employees knowledge, cooperation, and professionalism were great.

I used them for a while and found them to be poor at best but that can depend on the person doing he stuff for you as with any body it is not the company but the worker who makes them or breaks them

Only experience I've had with them goes back 40 years, and it wasn't really all that positive.

My wife and I were selling our house and in the process of building a new one. Our real estate broker found evidence of termites in the basement, so he suggested we have Orkin treat the basement. The treatment involved boring holes in the basement floor, injecting chemicals, and filling the holes with hydraulic cement.

An Orkin guy with telltale signs of serious boozing showed up about 5 o'clock one evening and began work. While my wife and I were eating dinner, we could hear him stumbling around the basement and swearing while he worked. He finished up the next day. The work he did was sufficient to get the house sold, and after that I didn't give a hoot.

I'd guess a lot depends on who they have locally to do the work.

Bad,poor, unexceptable. How many negative comments to you want. They had a service where they'd come once a month in the summer and spray the dairy barn for flies. Used a spray that was supposed to have a residual that lasted a while. They were supposed to lay down plastic over the mangers and put shower caps on the drinkers before they sprayed. That happened about the first two times every year. They got to where they wanted to start spraying in early April, way before it was necessary and was a huge waste of money. They'd have technicians quit on them all the time, then some guy in wingtip shoes from the office would come out to do the job and wouldn't do anything at all and expect to be paid just for showing up.
Then, they'd come out after fly season and through the winter for rodent control. It got to where they wouldn't even use the bait boxes anymore. They'd just lay those little bait bricks wherever it was handy to drop them. The last straw was when the dog was following one of them around and picked up one of those bricks and ate it. I have no idea if those techs were certified or not,but being the drooling mouth breathers that some of them were,I highly doubt it.

We had them spray the milking and heifer barns about 20 years ago. You'd have no flies for about a week then they'd be back with a vengeance. They said we weren't keeping the barn clean enough.
After a couple years they sent a new guy out who didn't know where to find the heifer barn. The barn swallows came back, I hung 2 large fly strips and changed them once a week, and guess what? NO FLIES!!!!!!
Dad figured out they missed the barn and had them spray it. Swallows left that day, and couldn't keep the flies out again. Dad hadn't been in there since school let out so I couldn't convince him that he just wasted a bunch of money and undid what I had worked on all summer.
Once he figured out that they were making the flies worse and quit using them, the barn swallows came back again and there were far fewer flies, again.

I had to hang new fly strips the day they sprayed. The idiots sprayed their stuff on them so heavy that there was no sticky left to them. Maybe they thought I wasn't bright enough to check them and we'd not notice the flies if they weren't stuck to the fly strips????????
