Along with todays pics, on the way home I stopped at the Curwood Castle in Owosso, MI on the Shiawassee River. This is just northeast of the intersection of M52 and M21 just west of the downtown of Owosso. When I arrived there was a large wedding party taking pics in front of the castle, you can see a few of the groomsmen in one of the pics. There had to be 10 each groomsmen and maids of honor. You can tour the castle for a small fee and they even have some of Curwoods books for sale. He wrote similar to Jack London, kinda "The call of the wild" stuff. Very famous and rich guy at the time. How many of you have even heard of him?
And poor Dave H! Not one of his kinda RED today! I just post as I happened along the tractors, no particular order. There will be some RED coming up in the future, though.

The castle is beautiful.

Never thought about it before - but I guess even "back in the day", they built McMansions... just because they could. :)
 
Just north of that castle on 52 is a nice little family style restaurant on the east side of the road. Stopped there for the first time this year. Good meal. Beat driving to heck and back over to Frankenmuth like we usually do.
