Tractor toolbox inventory

fire ext. but might not fit in box.. I carry, pliers/vicegrips, ear plugs, pins for drawbar, couple rags, old hammer, screwdriver (flat), couple bungies, assorted pins, cotterpins etc.,

plus shear pins/bolts and wrench for whatever implement is hooked up.

(Actually I need to add a fire extinguisher to one of the tractors, thanks for the reminder).

Mine is full. A set of wrenches, sockets, pliers, screw drivers, ratchet, Crescent wrench, various pins, electrical tape, and a .22 pistol with rat shot if I am near water.

Nearly all the fore mentioned. Isnt it funny....after you carry a few nuts, bolts, washers etc. that accumulate over the years compiled with dirt, there is no room for wrenches and drawbar pins lol....

Wire
ZipTies
Vise Grip
Crescent Wrench
Small hammer
Pins/nuts/bolts

And sometimes a few "special" picks, depending on the job at hand... For example, 2x 9/16 wrenches when bailing..

TwoCrescent wrenches(one large, one small/medium,BFH,assorted end wrenches, baleing wire......Plus the usual bolts hitch, pins,Hydralic 'adapters'..... JUNK........The pliars and screwdriver is on my belt.

I tend to travel light, usually within sight of the barn, anyway. Some form of pliers, pins and clips, crescent hammer, wire for cleaning sprayer tips, spare sprayer screens, and of course the stick for checking how much gas is in the tank of the two cylinders.

Depends on he tractor on the 8n we've got a 2" inch ball 2 clevis couple screwdrivers spark plug on the 530 case some wrenches pins bolts and shear pins on the franken Oliver some hitch pins and rust

Two 12" crescents, pliers, 6in1 screwdriver, extra draw pin&clip spare spark plugs in all the tractors. For the one I use to cut wood a separate tool box with extra chains, spark plugs, felling wedge, etc.

My inventory goes all the way from a full set of sockets and end wrenches to a mere tin can for the exhaust depending on the tractor.

Toolbox inventory is in the other tractor. I can't switch tractors fast enough to catch up with the tools.

The only tools I keep on my tractor I use for discing, is a crowbar and a hammer to remove rocks that get stuck between the disc blades. My mowing tractors I keep a hammer in the battery box. The pickup usually isn't too far away with a full tool box. Stan

I don't see a need to carry too many things on tractor, hammer and screwdriver. That way if I can't beat it up I can screw it up.

I have a complete service truck, 3 large tool boxes on wheels.

pair of pliers....those rusty hairpin cotters get painful with frozen fingers.
most tractors have some baling/fence wire twisted on em somewhere.
lots of rocks here...(hammers)

always....
right pocket...jackknife
left pocket...roll of electrical tape
