We are having our local fair this week in Jeffereson co WV,Our antique tractors are down a little this year.We have right at 100 tractors with one person owning 36 of them.I have 8 this year.Ive noticed the intrest of the people are down also.I believe the fair board would rather for us to leave our tractors home and they could have more carnival rides. Our lawn and garden tractors were way down,I think this was due to less free passes.I try to remind myself I don't collect tractors just to get free passes.Tractor collecting must be for the love of history not money

James we just had the same thing at our fair in Springfield MO. For years we had a huge nice barn and often had around 100 tractors. This year they booted us out and had guys dressed up in armor jousting in our old spot. This year we had maybe 30. I also feel like they wish we wouldn’t come. Not many people showing their live stock this year either. The focus has gone away from agriculture. Its all about rides, washed up rock bands and beer sales now. We get a lot of grandpas bringing the little ones to see the old tractors. I enjoy that.
