Hey Steve. I knew a guy in Paonia that was a retired banker that had several old tractors. His name was Don ?. I can't remember his last name off hand, but a great guy. Would be in his late 80's by now I would guess. He bought a restored 1929 D John Deere off of me about 10 years ago and I would sure love to get it back.

Would you have any idea who I am talking about? Looks like just a hop and skip from Delta, but I know in the Mts it is probably quite a distance. Email should be open. Thanks - Bob

Don Foster. He has a son ,Curtis Foster. They are on Pitkin Mesa.If he sold it,I think I know where it might be.I've seen the tractor at a few local shows.

Okedoke. My brother and his wife live in Denver and we went to their wedding there. Will probably go back one day.

Think so.His son (Curtis) lives in downtown Paonia and is 'active' in antique tractors.Curtis sponsors a small 'show'(About 10 tractors) in his yard during Paonia 'Cherry Days' parade/festival.Think I've seen the 'D' there.
