What would be a good plow that would match the following tractors? Im thinking something thats readily available and reasonable priced. Tractors that I would pull it with would be one of the following Massey 97 fwa, MM 705, JD 820,Case 900 or International 660 diesel. Any ideas on what should I pay for one of those plows?

I would look for a 5 bottom Oliver trailer-type plow 14" bottoms but most of the tractors you list would pull 16" bottoms. JD or IH plow of similar layout would work, too. Prices could range from scrap (couple hundred dollars) to maybe a thousand or so if painted with new wear parts.

I don't know about the mm, but the rest would do well with 5-14/16's. That case is often seen pulling 6-14's at shows. 4 bottoms generally sell for $100.00/bottom, but the 5 and 6 bottoms are more colectable and sell for around $1,000.00, around me anyway.

If you are looking to show them or be in contest aim for any mentioned for tractor you have.My choice would be a Case ah54.5 BOTTOM 14 INCH behind that Case 900

Bill.
This would be the perfect mate for the 820 but they are not cheap and not many available. John Deere wear parts alone are about $500.00 per bottom to restore plus what you have to pay for it in the first place, tires, sand blasting, painting and labor you can easily end up with 8 to $10,000.00 in one.

Hi Bill, here in the UK you could look fo a Ransomes TS46E 4 furrow trailing plough with SCN bodies. The IH dealer Braceys of Bennington down in Heartfordshire offerd a hydraulic lifting ram kit for the TS46 to work behind the IH crawlers. MJ
