loose all hydraulics at low idle. have to raise engine speed to high for 30 sec. for hydraulics to come back and work. all fluids and filters been changed, broke tractor in two installed new pto clutches and seals, checked other seals for leaks, trans pump looks very good. replaced main hydraulic pump, no change. system was very dirty.

Many good frt hyd pumps have been replaced when they weren't at fault! Did you check/clean sump screen(parts key #30)?
Does tractor have hyd hi-lo or reverser?? Have you checked trans pump flow & psi? Does tractor have a FEL? If so how is it controlled(scv or ind valve)?

Clean the transmission screen? Takes about 5 minutes to check it. Have you done any diagnosis measuring pressure and flow ? Or just replaced parts ?
A loader or any hydraulic loads on the tractor ?
Check the transmission relief and divert valves?

I just went thru this with a 2550. It turned out to be a bad seal in the hyd hi/low pack and a bad trans pump.

If you already changed the filter and checked the pickup screen. It really should be diagnosed by a someone familiar with JD testing. Dealer?

With the tractor running, have a look in through the transmission filler opening to see if there is oil spraying/flowing from the rockshaft valves toward the front of the rockshaft housing. If so you have to remove the rockshaft and rebuild the valve.
The other option is to install a gauge to check lube pressure with the main pump in stroke and out of stroke. A difference of more than 5 psi indicates a high pressure leak. Post back with what you find out.

I am having the same exact problem on my 2350. It works pretty good when cold but when it gets warm it gets really bad. The three point shakes almost all the time when you have a load on it and the lever that controls the 3 point creeps up.

I tested the preasure on the rear scv, cold is around 1800 after it gets warmed up it drops to about 1700 but bleeds off fast.

I have cleaned the screen once and found a few small pieces of rust but nothing major. I am going to change filter and clean the screen again when I get a chance. Just looking for some other ideas on where to go with this.

Thanks in advance.
