Wife is SERIOUS about hay

I suppose being around me for 27 some years that I have been making hay she can't help it. I had about 25 bales of second cut hay on my truck Saturday evening that I was going to add to, to make a delivery Sunday PM. I had left it backed up to the door of our old bank barn, and was not concerned about the weather because the forecast was good. Sunday AM I left for church before her as I had something to attend to before people arrived. I came home before her because I had hay to rake. I was home for a few minutes before I noticed that the back of my truck was backed into the barn. I NEVER back a truck or car into that barn as the floor is not built for it. I looked around and tried to figure out how it had gotten there. The key was hidden where it always is. Could it have started itself? But then what would have stopped it? It had gotten up over the six inch threshold, and hit a few things but then stopped. As I was looking this all over and trying to figure it out, my wife arrived and proceeded to explain what hadf happened. When she went out to leave for church she saw a big dark cloud and thought that she heard and felt rain, so she went to the barn and moved a plank so that she could get up over the threshold, then got in the truck and backed it in, stopping before she got to the mirrors. It never rained a drop and she pushed the foot of a fiberglass ladder for three feet, an old horse drawn plow for two feet, and crushed a five gallon bucket with sand in it. But, she rescued the hay!!!! Now how many wives appreciate hay like my wife does?

That would have been some shock if the back end dropped thru the floor. She would of had one of those "OH Sh Crap moments. gobble

That was a lot better story then one on here years a go titled, The good, The bad and the ugly. As I remember this guy was trying to beat the rain.
