Anybody here have experience using Pramitol "permanent" weed killer on stone driveways etc.? I can't imagine any spray being permanent. And, how dangerous is it to use?

(quoted from post at 18:16:36 08/10/15) yes very good, but any runoff will kill any grass in the run off area mke sure where any water will run to
the trees will be ok
it's been quite a few years, since i tried it but remember i didn't have any luck with it. knowing me, i proly did something wrong!

Yup, it works. Just be careful. Remember, it needs to make ground contract NOT plant contact. I used it 10 years ago on some fence rows. I had trouble with my sprayer at one spot and was messing with the sprayer. A LOT of spray got on the ground at that area. 10 years later only a little bit of grass/brush is starting to grow on the area....

We use it on fence rows and have had good results. Needs to be in contact with the ground not grass and as others say will go with the water if it has not had time to soak into the ground. Better than spraying round up tow or three times a year. the Pramitol will get at least two years before you see small things begin to come back.

I had a metal can of it in my pickup. It had rusted some and got on the rubber mat in the truck. My wife was going to do me a big favor and wash the truck. A few days later, where the mat was, the grass begin to die. It stayed dead for over 3 years.

I was advised to use 6 oz. per gallon of water, don't know if that's a good rate or not, first time I used it. Of course it depends just as much on how much area you cover.

But if you use a handheld, pump-up sprayer, the directions get to be a little fuzzy. The application rate is dependent on how fast I walk.

Look it up. A simple web search should be able to tell you how dangerous it is. Generally you will get "it's the bane of the earth" to "you can drink it it's so safe". The truth is generally somewhere in-between.
