MH44 EFI last day tuning.

I am pulling the plug on changes for the summer, it really runs good now, and I have a total of about 8 hours of dyno time for break in.

My plan for next year is:

Relocate injectors to spray right into the head and use timed injection for each cylinder. This will ensure that each cylinder gets the exact same amount of fuel. I have already drilled the manifold for this, but will need to modify the distributor for #1 TDC detector and put it back in.

Bore out the throttle body and intake upright to accommodate a JD 3020/4020 throttle plate. This will give me about 50% more intake area. The downside is the governor will be over gained, so it will need to be de-tuned. I think it will be OK, because it appears that JD uses the same throttle plate for 3020 - 4020, so they do not seem too concerned with exact sizing.

I need to get things cleaned up for threshers, so will move on to cosmetic issues.

I have bearing noise in the transmission and wheels, so that will be the big thing this winter.

I measured up for ROPs, plan to start on that tomorrow, might have it ready for threshers.

Many thanks to all of you for the support.

I really appreciate the amount of work and engineering you have put into this project. Could you post some pics?
