hey folks i would appriciate any advice here...

MF Tea20 ~1954

I started haying this year using a massey ferguson 925 haybine, was working real nice and i had cut sbout 2 acres over a few days (taking it easy with the old beast) today i was finishing up an area when it started to get a bit hot, i shut it down but shortly after decided i wanted to move it, but now it kept stalling when i let out the clutch and the haybine engaged, i left it until this evening thinking it was just to warm, but i went to use it again tonigt and same thing, it will spin the pto no problem when the haybine is not attached and runs fine otherwise so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am fairly new to all of this this is my first tractor i appriciate any help!

First off will it pull it self with out the PTO spinning the hyabine?? And second will it spin the haybine with out moving?? You should try those first to see if it is a transmission or haybine problem

I disingaged the pto and drove it off the field no problem, runs no problem when Pto is enguaged, but when hooked up to the haybine it stalls when i let off the clutch and the pto starts spinning, the haybines mower starts moving but the tractor stalls almost immediately.

Is that with the tractor out of gear?? If yes sounds like you have something binding up in the haybine and you need to look it over real good. Could be as simple as the conditioning rollers plugged up with grass etc

I agree. with the Haybine on cut grass, try to turn the Pto using a rod in the PTO joint. (engine off, PTO off) it should turn by hand, if not either a bearing or gear box, or wound up grass is jamming it. Jim
