We don't see a lot of these around. We saw a couple rusty ones sell at auction last year - maybe this is one of them, now restored.

The Thieman tractors were built at Albert City Iowa. There is always a display and info on the company at the "Albert City Threshermen and Collectors" show which is coming up the 7,8,and 9th of August.
You can get info at www.albertcitythreshermen.com

I think there was one at the Granite Iowa show. Ive seen a couple at shows in the last several years. A lot of the tractors from years ago were "kits" so people could afford to have a tractor of some sort. There were kits to redo your Ford car as well. My dad always said a lot of the blacksmith shops built tractors. There were a lot more tractor brands than just the "major 8" that survived back then.
