I do believe that you worked at Hiniker Cab Co. and still have contacts there? I am looking for some hinges for the windows to my 1300 cab, I spoke to the parts dept and they said that they were obsolete....

I know the cab is old and in great condition, but there were a ton of them around and I would think that the hinges would be a common part to replace. Is this infact obsolete or do I got to talk with the right guy?

Maybe it will be just as easy to have new ones turned out at a local machine shop.

They are not hinges per say. Just bushings with a pin through them. Did your pin break off? If so just grind the weld off the end of the pin and replace it with a new one. 1/4" as I recall. The
"hinges" never were available as a separate part as the bushing is welded to the window frame. So the parts guy must have thought you needed the whole frame which probably is obsolete.
 
It's actually 5/16, or I should say 0.300" which is 0.012" smaller than 5/16".

I will look again as it looks just like a machined unit. If it is truely a pin, they did an excellent job of welding and grinding it down.
