A new tractor

I think I see the red oval "Pete" logo about half way up the glass. If you are going to do something as big as they do, might as well do it with somebody known for "perks".

That is hideous. As a die hard Peterbilt guy, I have a hard time grasping the fact that Paccar would even consider any sort of dealing with Wal Mart. They won't even allow big trucks to park in the store lots.

Interesting that they brought back the round front trailer of the early days of semi trailers

Don't know how many Wal Marts you've been to but I have been to a LOT of them scattered all over the Eastern part if the US.

I can tell you that in the vast majority of them that I've seen 'big trucks' parked in their lots.

Wal Mart is well known for allowing 'Big Trucks' and RVs to park overnight, unless local regulations prevent it.

They opened a new distribution center in Maine about three years ago with all Petes.

I wonder if they'll pave some new concept roads to drive them on. All that plastic hanging two inches off the pavement wouldn't last a day around here. I won't even go into winter time slush and snow driving conditions or road construction areas.

That is just too ugly for words. Looks like the driver must sit on a perch out in front of that ridiculous looking thing and have the sides of the cab right up to him. No room for a "coach" or helper. Overall, I would cut my CDL in 2 before I would be seen in something like that.

I guess it depends on the Wal-Mart store. My daughter tells me that their local Wal-Mart's won't allow trucks or campers to overnight in their parking lots. The store here in Lowville has always allowed trucks overnight.
