Got this 77 today with a 1650 engine it runs real good starts as soon as you hit the starter it starts right up it has the belt pulley and everything works except the lights I think it needs adjusted seems it's running almost wide open at full throttle the tires are almost new it just needs the one front tire reseated I only drove it in 3 gears as the front tire r1 seemed to have some noise I paid 940 for it the wide front end doesn't have have welds on it

Sometimes thats the best kind of tractor!!!

I must admit...

I am jealous buddy!! That looks like a beast of a tractor!! Good buy, great deal, that must be your biggest yet huh? Corn picker going to fit on it?! :)

Nick , here is my franken tractor its a 1555 with a 1650 gas engine! The 77 and the White American 60 are original and all need a little TLC = tools labor and cash! Lol Greg

I say you got a good deal , the tires alone cost more than what you paid for the tractor.

Bill, at this time yes but neighbor wants to borrow it to put on the manure spreader and would be under a shed roof. I told him it needs work and declined his offer!

I've always though two digit series Oliver tractors look best when they are painted the newer green and white colors like that one is.

Bryce, the pickers require a narrow front tractor and that one is wide. He would have to be able to pull that wide front off and find a narrow front to replace it with and then it would work but not as it sets. The snapping rolls would be behind the front axle and all sheet metal would have to be off to get it in there. and then the axle would break over the stalks before the snapping rolls cought up with them. I know you are not in a corn growing area so have you ever actually seen a mounted picker? Way more complicated than you would not think without having used one.
