Went to an auction that was a little different from most.Fellow had died, apparently this rich fellow about 25-30 years ago bought a pretty good size farm and was going to run cattle,make hay etc.He bought tractors and equipment some new mostly lightly used parked it all in a machinery shed and barn and never used it to farm with used the tractors some I guess to scrap snow and the like.Anyway this equipment had some age on it but was in very good condition.I bought a New Holland 847 baler for $1100 that was about as close to new as you'd ever hope to find no paint at all worn off the bars,A M-C 7ft Rotary Scythe in very good condition with cylinder and hoses for $200.A M-C heavy duty flail cutter with cylinder and hoses in great shape for $200,8ft Cultimulcher for $350.Bought a New Holland Cordwood saw for $35 never had seen a NH saw like this.Anyway it was a pretty good sale and very interesting.His old Model A Ford with a Rumble seat bought around $8000.
