I've been thinking and you guys said that corn picker I looked at yesterday wasn't worth what he wanted and I thought since he still has the 77 that it was mounted on its in decent shape and runs good they said what if I could get them to do a package deal of the picker and the 77 for around 1500 what do you guys think?
 
As long as the 77 runs good and has good rubber than I would say yes. Does the 77 still have the side shields on it?
 
It doesn't have them on it currently he thinks there around somewhere the only problem is I don't know if they would want to sell it
 
Factoring in what the picker obviously needs and the tractor. I still think it is too much. If the picker had straighter metal and less worn transport components it would be OK. Jim
 
I guess I live too far in the past. I bought an 88 diesel and a number 4 picker in 1972 for $550. Then I bought a better number 4 for $40. Inflation I guess.
 
I wish u could find one for that price! I live in ohio when I see Oliver's on Craigslist here they are going for what I asked if it would be a good price for both. I hear of people getting stuff on here it always seems cheaper than what I see it for here
 
Nick if you are OK with the price then I say go for it. If he wants 600 for it offer him a little less, and maybe he will take it. also cash sometimes works to lower the price.
