Day in the Ozarks

I'm more of a reader than a poster but thought I'd share a few pics from my day. First pic is of my incredible wife and soon to be son, due any day now. He will be the seventh generation Knight on this property. Thought I'd throw in a couple pics of tractors to keep it tractor related. Neighbor bales the place and has a fleet of 1850's and I believe a 1650 hidden somewhere also. Good yield so far, 26 rounds off 8 acres, 15 or so more to go. Rain has been consistent four to five days a week making it almost impossible to get hay put up dry. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Congratulations on the addition to the family. Yeah, all the rain makes difficult to harvest the hay, but it sho' do make it grow!

Nice. Where are you in the Ozarks then? Do you do any business with Bar-B Tractor for those Olivers? We were down there several times in the late 90's looking at farms. We were pretty serious about moving down there at the time.

We are in Crawford county, northern part of the ozarks, barely over an hour southwest of St. Louis. Can't say that I've heard of Bar B, the Oliver's aren't mine. The only old iron I one is a worn out IH 674. Wouldn't mind finding a good Oliver though, don't seem to hear many complaints from their owners.
