I think I am officially over the hump. I have about 250 acres of beans left to plant and then I am done with the planter. The milo is about two inches tall and looking good. It feels good to finally have that much in the ground even if it is at least three weeks late. Four miles south they had 2 1/2 inches of rain last night, so I feel pretty lucky. Now if we can just get some timely rains to make it grow. Last year was weak - I really need a good year out of the beans!
Is anyone else still in the field planting?
