Hello all, My family and I are headed down to see my dad for this fathers day weekend. Would like to know if their is anything special we could go see in bella vista area or somewhat close by hour or so drive. Tractor related or outdoor stuff. My son is 4 anything outdoors is great . Devils den state park is not too far south and Pea ridge a civil war battle site near by also.

Steve just north of there in Missouri is a fish hatchery, lots of Jessie James stuff around there.

Eurica Springs Ark is east of there a little way. Jessie James was reported to have staid there along with other famous people. Lots of C War history north of there. Signs on the highways around the Joplin Mo area. If you are driving down I35 the Jessie James farm is just a few minutes off I35 at Kearney-north of Kansas City.

The Daisy company is located in Rogers, just south of BV. They have a great museum there (downtown). If you're interested in BB guns, it's a few hours well spent.

If you want a little culture, Crystal Bridges Museum of American art is in Bentonville, south of Bella Vista.
