JD 7410 left hand reverser

I know it isn't an antique, but a buddy of mine has a 7410 with the left hand reverser that quits working when the tractor gets up to operating temp. From what he understands, it it a solenoid that is causing the issues. Trouble is, he hasn't figured out how to get to them, nor which one it is. I think he said it won't go forward once it gets warmed up.
Thanks in advance.

It is usually the lever/controller not the solenoids. My son has a JD 7410 and he has had to replace the control lever twice in 4500 hours. It does what your friends is doing when it is bad.

Without the book in front of me I am not much help for you but try down on the JD board. There are several fellows there that are more versed in the newer stuff.

This is the part JD Seller referred to. Price is the reason I hate and won't own a tractor with electronic controlled devices, These devices are great when operating correctly but when they fail one pays handsomely.
