They are big on passing laws and keeping the laws a secret. A while back they passed a law stating you had to have safety chains on your trainer and I had an old trailer that was built before the law went into effect. The way I found out about the safety chain law is when I was getting a ticket.

I can understand this law because there is no way to tell how strong the weld is by looking at it
But Texas is the only state that has the no welding law.
(quoted from post at 19:35:44 06/13/15) Colin, Trailers over 3000 lbs GVW are required to be inspected annually here in NH. Also, trailers over 1500 lbs GVW are required to have working brakes.
