Every time I get one of those,the wife confiscates it so I still end up writing on envelopes or whatever's handy.

Sad thing, after 2 out of 3 experiences with Steiners being rotten. I gave up. I only live 3 miles from them.

Last straw, they told me they didnt make a fan belt for an Allis Chalmers WC. I said, do you mean you dont have one in stock. He said, no they dont make them. I told him, you have it listed on your website. He said, nope we don't.

Had my dad with me, I thought he was going to go into the stratosphere. Because of course, we are holding the old belt in our hand. Dont know who the counter guy was. I've been going to call Dave and tell him what happened, but I dont know him really that well, and not sure it would change anything.

They have a guy on the counter there that is, to be kind, a barely functioning moron. He does however share the same gene pool with the rest of the Steiners. One thing for sure, their customer service there is not what it used to be. Not sure why.

Probably 45 minutes, or a little more. ( each way ) And I didn't have to drive to get this item. I suspect I'd have to wait anyway, it's not a high volume item these days.
