Finally turned AC on to knock the humidity down in my country place. First time this year. Also first time I used AC in truck. Personally I like climate change. Brick home is still comfortable and haven't used AC there yet.

We still haven't turned it on down here. I can't remember when we didn't turn it on by the 1st of June. Monday and Tuesday we had morning temps in the upper 40's and low 50's. That's almost unheard of this time of year in Arkansas. It is a little warm today but I'm resting in the basement where it's still cool.

I actually turned up the thermostat on the furnace last night. It was running this morning when I got up. We went to a graduation open house this afternoon and I wore a flannel shirt.

Way early here, but the AC has been on the last two days. 91 in the shade today, we normally won't see 90 till middle of July. Sweet corn and veggies are sure liking it, we are a good two weeks ahead of normal.

Havent needed much AC yet here in Southern Indiana, heating and cooling was almost non existent in April and May woooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo but I'm sure hot weather is coming which fans can pretty well handle until it really heats up.

George;
I want you to remember this come January when I am posting pictures of the strawberries blooming.
If the climate change is getting to you I could find a little work for you in the 93 deg heat helping me install a new roof.

We do have a few perks living in the south near the coast...................

JohnT,
It's not the heat so much as the humidity. It's 66 this morning and raining. I LOOOOOOOVE climate change. I run the dehumidifier in the basements of both places. My brick home hasn't gotten over 72. It hard to convince people the value of thermal mass, not to mention no maintenance.
Looking forward to seeing you, Just keep me posted when. I got many things to do. Kids have many things for dad to do. Daughter is getting a new place in Avon. Has my summer planned out for me. Son has projects too. I also have 10 rentals to keep busy.
Geo.

John,
When I was young, I did all my construction work. Form digging footers, framing, electrical, plumbing, siding, windows, doors, floors and putting shingles on. 11 years ago, Dr told me I need spinal fusion. I refused, too many people with bad experiences with fusion. So I now act as a general contractor and hire people to do the back breaking work and I do what I can with the easy stuff. Roofing is one I contract out. If you were in Terre Haute, I could give you the number of the best and fastest roofer around. Not to mention reasonable and trust worthy.

You have a nice case of crabs, bet they taste good.
