Jay,

I have a Thorughbred mare that came off the race tracks in Kentucky. It scares the bejebers out of me when she breaks into a fast canter and I nearly lose consciousness when she gallops.

I have no idea how the jockeys stay on those horses. I wouldn't even consider getting onto one that's as fast as American Pharaoh.

They're beautiful athletes.

I don't follow horse races but it was fun to see an animal break out of the gate and just GO! Looked like the same pace all of the way. The other horses just started to fade away. Something like 5 1/2 lengths? Crying out loud I was in my late 20s the last time! Good going little horsey!
