Do you guys think propane prebuy at $1.48 a gallon will be a good buy or should I pass. Never had opertunity befor. This is Northwest Ohio.

That really depends on your area. $1.48 is above the local cash price right now in my area of Iowa. I can buy for around $1.35 right now. In other parts of the country that would be a good price. So you really need to know what the historical averages for YOUR area are.

Recently paid local farm co-op 94¢ cash price to summer fill the three 450 gallon tanks that we own. (Illinois)

My wife took care of things when she was alive and I don't know where to find any of the papers but I think last year was around $2.00 per gallon at fill time. So that would be about 50 cents a gallon cheaper than what I think we paid.

I was just in to my supplier and was offered $1.04 contract for 5000 gallon fall delivery. Theyt thought we could get below $1 within the next couple weeks.
