Ford 5ooo diesel good honest, simple to use and Ford New Holland 7840 with cab, comfortable and makes the jobs get done quickly and easily. I know that is two but couldn't split them.

TV140?
My dad was in the brochure as the driver when the bidirectional 9030 was about new.

I wish I could play in your sandbox.

My favorite is the Ford 7000 row crop. There was no better machine made.

At the moment, my cabbed Kubota B2650. Didn't take long to get spoiled.

Collectible-wise, I'd lover to have a pup-start John Deere 830 and an Oliver 70 Rowcrop.

Can't say that I have a "favorite " . I have 6 tractors that I use regularly, And it depends on the job I have to do as witch tractor is my favorite tractor for the job. No question in the winter, it is one of the cab tractors.

It's hard to pick a favorite. I use my little 4630 Ford the most for chores. It's economical and easy to get on and off. My 826IH is like an old pair of pants. I've had it so long that it's comfortable. The newer tractors are nice and I can get spoiled but they are shop tractors, meaning when something needs fixed they have to go to the dealer. I guess if I had to pick an all time favorite it would be a 1030 Case. It was simple, cheap and dependable HP.

Well that blue Versitile would be fitting for a lot of farmers around here, because with the irratic weather and market prices, they never know weather they are comeing or going.

tough question
favorite for saving my back and sweat= Kubota with loader and backhoe.
favorite for every dirty little 'tractor' job= 54 Ford NAA
favorite to just ramble around on with no real goal=2cyl Deere

Out of 15 tractors, I have a IH 766 narrow front with a turbo 414 in it and a JD 4020 narrow front powershift with a turbo 404 from a 4430. They are my favorites to use. I don't which I like the best. They are both very handy tractors.

Yup, depends on the job. I have an M Farmall that I go to for small loader jobs or grinding feed. I love the narrow front for moving the mixer grinder just where I need it. I have an A that only gets used once a year to cultivate my sweet corn patch. I feel bad that it just sits there, but it does get to see a little elevator time during hay season, too.

I grew up only IH, but there just isn't any dealer support for anything but green here. Everything else I use is green. I like feeding with the 4020. The 4440 is a great spraying and general use tractor, and I love the 7800 for planting. It has FWA so there is a lot of piece of mind with it. Farming alone means you walk home!

I have an 8430 that I disc and cultivate with and I hate that thing. It is a perfectly good tractor but that cab is a mess. It lets in so much filth and is noisier than an freight train. She's like a poopy work boot- purely utilitarian and nothing you would like to play with. All of the others I don't mind a days work in/on.

Got a Cummins in that baby? Have one in mine, a B 3.3 NA. .046g/hp (you are using)/hr. Branson brand, my baby.

I have 3 tractors around here I own personally. They are all paid for and (at the moment anyway) all running. That makes all 3 of them my favorite. (smile)

I gotta say my favorite tractor since I was 12 years old has been the Oliver 77.

It is really hard to call out number two though. I sure have been fond of the Farmall C the last coupla years. I use it more in the fields/patches here on the big eight acre place I live.

Well,
I have a couple of Blue Fords and I do like them both.
But favorite?
Probably whichever one will start and run that day with the least amound of hassle.

I dont have an 856(wish I did). But the Turbo 706 with 310 has 56 shifters. I guess that makes it a 756? LOL

I've often thought one of the smaller bi-directional would be great to mount an 8' bush hog on and use it like a big lawn mower.....but the weight, fuel economy and reliability has scared me off.

I guess I will stick with the AC 175D as my favorite, as it is my money maker....and I own 6 of them
:D

I have had three tractors that I will not sell or trade.

1) 1980 JD 4440 I bought it when it was one year old with 250 hours on it. It now has over 12,000 hours on it. Still one of my favorite cab tractors

2) 1974 Oliver 1655 Diesel. My Uncle bought it new in 1974. I bought it when he retired in 1984. I just like how it handles and the three speed PS is just the berries on a square baler. IT now has around 7500 hours. I don't remember what it had on it when I bought it.

3) 2000 JD 5210 2wd. I bought this tractor off of JD finance as a repo. I really planned on selling it. I just liked how easy/quick it started and how easy it is to get on and off of. So I kept it and it gets used for some little thing every single day. Not a lot of hours but just used for little stuff as it is so handy to use.

So I would say the JD 4440 if it is cold or dusty. The Oliver 1655 for spraying and such. Then the little JD 5210 for all those little things you use a tractor for like blading the lane or mowing the outsides of the pasture.

If it were new, it would be a Fendt but I would not be smart enough to drive it. If it were old, it would be a 730D.

My favorite old tractor is one that is easy to get on and off of, starts first or second time over, and steers easy.

My all time favorite...

IH 1456. I spent a great amount of hours on one with an open platform.

Oliver 88

JD4440

I have many. John Deere 530, John Deere BO, Oliver 66 wide front, Allis Chalmers styled WC wide front and a MInneapolis Moline UDLX

TO 20 for plowing snow, Ford 661 for bushogging and my TC-35 for log dragging and loader work. If snow gets too deep the TC-35 gets that too. No drama with the TC

I'm a john Deere man but I have ran a few internationals and a 2290 2590 case. My favorite was 4255 power shift and 7800 powerquad then a 4020 p.s. and 966 ih

If it was what tractor that I own or owned , then I must say my JD 2355N has been the best thing for us.

If it is what would I go buy with Lotto money, I love the look of the 6030

856D turbo would be mine. 666 gas with loader in the winter time and now I am getting fond of a 656D hydro. All will do what I want them to, so I like all 3.

I've got a '71 Massey Ferguson 150 diesel that's hands down my favorite. Owned it since new. Also have a 4440 Deere that's been here since it was about 2 years old. Looks like it'll outlast me. Just recently bought a 7830 Deere that I'm taking a real shine to.

My favorite is the little JD M Pop and I bought forty some years ago. Of course it's mostly sentimental. I don't recall ever meeting a tractor I didn't like. LOL

It's just coming apart.Been that way for years. The other side is the same.Bought them both new as a pair in '82. Harvest King.
