Whats your favorite??

Really nice turnout!

I always wanted to buy a pickup for my Dad like that red Apache. 70 Chevelle SS for me please.

This place amazes me, we literally had this conversation at work today- what classic car would you buy with lottery proceeds?

Marilyn's dad had a Country Squire. The whole family of 13 kids plus mom and dad went to church in that thing. The older kids had a younger sibling on their lap. Did the seats way in the back go along the sides and face toward each other? He traded it for a new 66 Chevy wagon.

Gotta love those Ford V8 flatheads.
There is a poster on this site that has posted videos of a '52 Mercury. The sound of that old flathead takes me clear back to the 50s.

Its always nice to see antique cars being appreciated. If I won a lottery I would not have to buy an antique car. I'd just
spend the million or part thereof, to fully restore the 52 Merc that my dad bought in 1959.

Always wanted one of them, how'd you keep it that nice all them years? Did have a 70 Elcamino though.

Sounds like us with 8 kids plus Mom and Dad.
Ours was the Country Sedan - cheaper trim package but the same wagon otherwise.
Dad hated it. The tailgate never sealed properly so gobs of dust rolled into the car on the dirt road between our house and the highway.

Love them old flathead Fords! They and the Y-blocks that followed had different firing order than other V-8's and a sound all their own.
