The small(top) opening of the connecting rod is about .803. I took one bushing out of it's wrapper and it is about .01 to .015 larger than the hole it is supposed to go into. With the bushing being a split style, I can not get a real accurate measurement. Is this the correct bushing? I realize that they will to be pressed in, but isn't this too large a bushing to go into the rod? I left them at work and I did only check one.
Thank you Steve

They will probably press in 0k but then you will have to have them resized to fit the wrist pin and any good machine shop can do that.

They will need to be pressed in and reamed/honed to size. Unless you have the equipment, I would let the shop that does the work press them in. Wrist pin bushing clearance is a very critical area, not forgiving of any error!

.010" is way off. nothing of farming size will press fit in that range ever. They are fust wrong. Press fit might be .0005 to .001". Then as noted, the bushing must be reamed in a fixture that reams accurately .0 a fit of .0002 to .0004 of pin size, and parallel to the rod big end! Jim
