looked it up, jeez its 510,000 acres. maybe the howells will buy that one!!! also has a continuous fence around it.

t does seem to have a little bit of that,...1200 producing wells

,.....and 30.000 acre plot of farm land a couple thou cows and a hand full of horses.
Seems like a nice little place but I would hate to ride fence there though, i don't think one gets that done in just a couple hrs :lol:

$1421.57 per acre for a place that has over 1000 oil wells and 50+ houses.
I would call that rather cheap.

Riding fence would be a full time job with close to 800 square miles to cover.
What's that 28 miles x 28 miles.

And just think this place is only 2/3 the size of the King ranch in southern Texas.

The bathroom in the main house is painted light green. That is a total deal breaker. I wouldn't spend the money when I know I will have to repaint the bathroom. ridiculous... just ridiculous...

Is that place in the Vernon area? There was a huge ranch that was supposed to be the biggest that i drove by somewhere around Vernon. The part of the ranch i saw was scrub trees and oil wells.

I would bet that the oil rights are not in the selling price. Most land sales in my neck of the woods are for the surface only.
