Ford 4600, 3600, 4100, 3000, 4000 fuel pump ??

how do i turn up the fuel a snitch on this type of pump, or just to get it a few more horses with a little more revving smoke for the parade i bought this for, please tell me what screw no matter what, I'm just trying to figure it out, and would it be ok for the motor to turn it up just a little, not rpm's but just smoke and power. thats why i bought this ford 4600 not long ago
 

cant turn it up with out it reving higher... smoking is caused by overloading the engine with excess fuel. till it can catch up,, which is only a temporary condition....

or defective injectors or compression...

so unless you damage your engine, or keep gunning it, which is stupid, and dangerous to everyone, it wont happen with a "good" engine.

You could put oversized injectors in it, and run it wide open like the tractor pull tractors and get it to smoke for maybe 9 minutes till the engine blows itself apart. Again,, why would you want to destroy an engine and harm others and yourself.
 
o gosh after reading what you posted, now i realized, jeez he's right. yea i won't mess with that , yea i don't gunn it or anything and i wasn't really for smoke, just a little more power because this tractor is the only tracer i have. noo i respect this tractor i hate reckless driving, thank you
 
You could turn it up... without making it turn any faster. It will just make more torque and more power at the same speed. It will also make more smoke and more heat. That tractor doesn't have enough rad to remove any more heat... so the eventuality is that sooner or later it WILL overheat and bake itself to death if you don't crack a piston first.
Turning up that particular pump is not something that should really not be attempted without the benefit of either a dyno or a pump test bench.
