Oliver potato planter

We recently had a tornado tear down an old barn on our farm and discovered an Oliver 2 row potato planter that had been stored in the back. It has some rust but would look great if someone had the time to restore it. Unfortunately, we don't so we are interested in selling it. Does anyone know a fair price to ask for it?

You're pretty much just looking at scrap price on the spud planter, and scrap is fairly low right now.

That depends on where it is located. Some places they are worth more than scrap, like in Pennsylvania.

I bought one 3 years ago in Northern In. It was 2 row and I paid $500.for it. It took quite a lot of time to restore,but is worth it.I also got the potato digger at the same auction.

You could be right about price vs location. Here in the potatoe state of Idaho where we raise the world famous russet burbank spud the one row planters are pretty much yard ornaments.
