I don't know, of course, but you might have just misssed a heck of an opportunity. Had you bought it just before Mother's Day, and wrapped a few pink ribbons on it....

I could right you a book on F3060 and almost all of it would be good. Own two now one for summer and one for winter, (snow blower and blade) They took the old F 2400s and refined them . Keep the drive line greased and blow out the radiator(notice I said BLOW no water) and you will love it. Fuel filters a little hard to change so most folks don,t. If you notice it getting weak change the fuel filters and blow out the air cleaner.

We actually had a 2400.Traded it for a New Holland CM and traded that for a Kubota ZD28.Now we're back to a front runner.Zero turns ride rough and my back don't like that no more.

I haven't seen a lawn boy in decades. Do they still make them? If not, is that the last model made? I don't remember them having all of those cables. Throttle I get, but what's the other stuff?

Lets see.cable for choke and throttle ,then you got the engine brake, self propelled cable and it's a 3 speed so you got a cable for that. It's also electric start. Bought it in the late 90s.You can still get parts. After Toro bought them the 2 stroke and cast deck went byby.Thats when they ruined the Lawnboy name.

I'm sure that she appreciates the canopy because it helps you to avoid skin cancer, but, no cab? isn't she concerned about your well being? Without a cab you could be struck with heat exhaustion, or in the late fall you could get chilled and catch a fever and get very sick. Your hearing could suffer. I'm sure that she really wants you to take it back and get one with full cab with AC and stereo. At least my wife has always insisted on that. At least I kinda thought she did. Well, any way I got the cab.

Those are good machines, all of mine have cabs and a blade and get thoroughly worked hard for 10-16 hr stretches in the winter.
