Anybody else around the Midwest had problems this spring?
Never have had problems before, BUT the last 3 or 4 days have been terrible - And I'm inside most of the time.
Had some health problems last fall and felt fine this winter, BUT the "pollen" this spring is kicking my butt.

Just the last week seems like. Sinuses draining, sore throat, little tickle then the coughing begins! Had watery eyes only one day though. Lot of lingering dry coughs goin round the neighborhood, takes about three weeks to kick. Take care!

Get yer beans in today or tomorrow morning?
My helper left to help finish planting beans around Toulon, IL.
Guess who?

The help never showed up here, LOL. Got 70 acres today, gotta move to another farm with some dryer soil tomorrow. I reckon we will find more mud before its all over, just got started today. My guess would be a certain fellow Oliver puller?

Not any better on the top side of Ill. Heard on a Chicago radio station a couple days ago was the worst recorded pollen day ever.

Yes, I have been taking Zyrtec daily for at least the last month. Using eye drops twice daily. Still have occasional sinus headaches on the really strong days. Used to never have problems but the last year or two have caused me to take the allergy meds.

I have not had much problem but yes have heard others complaining about pollen. Guess it is a good thing to eat a lot of hot foods to keep things cleaned out LOL

I think the pollen is kicking everyone, everywhere! Never had too many problems, but I have felt almost as if I have the flu all week. I read that it is so bad that the junkies are trying to change their meth back into Sudafed.

I have a lot of allergies and this spring has been the worst I've had to deal with in 30 years. Pollen has been produced in great quantities for some reason.

With the hot spell we just had, everything started growing. I was putting gravel down on my driveway one afternoon and the wind kicked up, the pine tree next to me let off a heavy plume of pollen, its way early for that compared to most years. Fortunately it does not bother me, well yet.... inside dry air in the winter though, wake up every morning clogged up, maybe a humidifier would help at night. The pre-cleaner and air induction system we are built with sure can be problematic at times that is for sure LOL !

I had one full day and part of a second flat on my back. Had allergies all my life and could not figure out why I was so ill this year. The worst of it for me coincides with the oak trees in the back fence line blooming. Gets rapidly better until the grasses start their thing. This year was the worst.

Taking meds everyday. Have been discing for the past two days and by the time I get back home I can hardly breathe for all the sneezing and snotting.

I heard we are getting all of the different pollens at onece because we stayed cold longer and when it did warm up both the early and late pollinating plants woke up at the same time.

try one or two tablespoons of raw honey per day, not the pasturized stuff sold in stores, helps me tremendously
