Belarus 250AS Power

Just purchased a King Kutter 5' tiller and will be using it with a Belarus 250as. Do you think this tractor has enough power to run the tiller properly. Thanks in advance.

Seems to me no live PTO on those? Might make running any tiller a problem.

I doubt it has enough power or slow enough gears to run it. Someone who has a 250 will hopefully answer.

Been a lot of years since I have been around a Belarus so going off foggy memory; BUT...

Depends on what kind of ground you are trying to run the tiller threw.

That motor puts out about 30hp. So at the drawbar/pto you are in the range of 20 to 24 hp.
Even though it should have about 8 forward speed and like 4 or 6 reverse gears;
Can get down to less than 1 mph in first gear;
And if I remember correctly has live PTO;
If you try using the tiller as a plow in hard ground its gona bog it down.

If you are using it to break up clods in plowed ground or ground that has been tilled in the recent past it should be fine.
