trailer slidein

I have a utility trailer that I that I haul mostly my lawnmower and side by side from one end of the farm to the other. It is 12x6 and 2 Ta 6 times a year I could use a enclosed trailer. Was wondering if anybody built and sold a slide in box for trailers like the slide in campers for pickups. I haul plants sometimes, I have made plywood sides but won't last to many more years and I need something with a top.

Not likely since once you've built the box all you lack is a tongue and axle to have another trailer with real resale value. That just would not be cost effective. But you could easily build your own or have one built. If you have it built I would expect it to cost as much pr more than a trailer tho since it will be custom.

The big tomato and pepper farmers have a tarp enclosure on a trailer to haul plants in. Seems that would be a doit yourself project if that would suit your needs.

ounds like a perfect platform for a 1/2" EMT conduit and a tarp. Bend some hoops, drill holes in the top rail for them to slide into and throw a tarp over it.
