Ford Plow

Hey guys,
looking at getting a 3 pt hitch 4 bottom plow.
Guy nearby has this ford plow for sale. Doesn't know model number.
Going to take a look tomorrow.
Anyone know what model this is?
Is it made by ford or is it another make for Ford?
Any experience iwth these? Good/bad plow.

Currently have a 3 bottom IH 531 and love the way it plows...just want a little bit more size...don't do much tillage...10 acre/year..

Is there a 4th bottom that I can't see?
I think they were all built by Riton or Righton - whatever it is.
Oliver, JD, lots of Fords, etc.
Pretty distinctive breakaway bottom that was used on all of them.
Wear parts are readily available.
What are you going to pull it with - just curious?
Is that an old cultipacker in the background?
I would ask about it.

Good plow, Oliver bottoms. Your 531 is a great plow.

Ultra dog...4th bottom is a slightly different colour of rust. Thanks for the info...probably pull it with MF 265, 1080 or Landini 105.
Wolf man, thanks for info...love the 531...turns soil smooth as silk.

No experience with the 118, but if it has Oliver bottoms, GP I am assuming, I know those do pull nicely and do a great job, one of my plows has Oliver bottoms and the other takes Ford wear parts, thought it was olive too, but either do work well, both are rebuilt though. Be interesting to hear if anyone has experience with one of these.
