My wife and I had our 574 Gas tractor running most of the day Sunday while spraying weeds and fence lines. Tonight I went to start it and it
started and ran for about two seconds and died and wouldn't restart. It will crank with good spark getting to the plugs and fuel to the carb.
My question is will a bad electric fuel solenoid screwed into the back bottom side of the carb keep it from starting? I checked the solenoid
for continuity and no reading. I hooked it to my battery charger and nothing happens or clicks. So I'm thinking this is my problem. It ran good until now...
