My 96 Dodge Ram 3500 brakes

Last week I mentioned I had severe front end wobble when applying the brakes on my Dodge. I removed the tire. The rotor had no run out. and looked good, no marks. So what to do? I bought two new rotors. The rotors and the wheel hub are one unit. When I opened one box I found the pickup ring for the ABS missing. I took them back. I just installed new pads and put everything back together. The only thing I did find was one bearing just a little loose. I snugged up the bearing. A little over 100 mi. so far, and no wobble when applying the brakes. I think someone mentioned wheel bearings last time, may cause wobble. Time will tell. Stan

If I had time I would have. I put brakes on it about three years ago. I am sure I did the bearing cleaning, and repacking then. I put less than a thousand miles a year. I only use it about 4 months a year when I do my mowing jobs. Then it just sits. Stan

Worn control arm bushings caused a shimmy in my 96 when I applied the brakes. That was at 137k.

As others have said check the track bar.
Have someone rock the steering wheel as you look where it mounts to the frame, any side to side play is too much.
