The 1952 8N with the flathead V-8 Ford engine was really neat. The owner said he had pop up pistons in it and Edmunds finned aluminum heads and an Edmunds 2-2's intake manifold with Stromburg 94's on it. He said the 94's had a little smaller venturi than the 97's. I also liked the unstyled John Deere B with skeleton steel wheels. One more set of pics to follow.

I like that MH 50, did they make a diesel version? we only got the MF 35 & 65 models over here.

The 50 is almost the same as a 35, different steering and sheet metal. I think some were diesel,
there was certainly a diesel 150 that replaced it. Sam

The 50 replaced the Ferguson 40. The odd diesel turns up for sale
around here in NNY. It shares a lot parts with the 65.

Thanks for the great photos!

I've always had a hankering for an R, not exactly sure why, but if I ever get the chance for one, it's coming home with me.

Plow day?

Don't see any plows hooked to these. ha ha

couldn't resist.

thanks for posting

The farmer that owns this property has a row of old plows along a fenceline and anyone can choose any plow that will work. When these pics were taken, the tractors were lined up for a mass pic and some of the tractors had not had a chance to hook up to a plow. Some did not want to like the flathead V-8 8N. He ripped up and down the unplowed field a few times but did not plow.
