The first pic is of a '37 John Deere A with a very neat home made electric starter. The owner, Doug, got an electric starter off an old OMC outboard, plus the ring gear and got a little tire from Tractor supply and fabbed up a lever and push button to activate the starter. When the tire gets spinning, he pushes the lever to engage it into the flywheel and the tractor starts. The third pic shows where he put the garden tractor battery. The 4th pic is of the narrow front Farmall M I drove, parked next to a wide front M. The 5th pic is of the Case the 10 year old boy drove. More tomorrow.
