Its a Golf cart 2009 Streetcar ( I think its a re-badge Club Car its legal to drive on the street) 48V it will not move forward are reverse. I have installed new battery's. It started out you had to pump the accelerator pedal at times to get it going but now nothing. Its not in the tow position any I.D. were to find info to diagnosis...

Its lived its life at the beach my bud was going to replace the bat's because they were 6 years old hopeing they may be the issue and discovered part of the frame that supports the bat's was ate up from battery acid. I had picked up a aluminum spool gun set up for my mig and welded in new supports. I replaced the bat's but it still won't GO

have two club car electic golf carts

older one the key is actully wired to a solenoid that powers up a bar of solenoids that are
triggered by a sliding switch that fires off other solenoids for various speeds rev is only one of
them

the newer one has a circut board affair that replaces the solenoids

power isn't getting to somthing

If I remember correctly all the controls are set off buy grounding the solenoids

you will need a volt meter to trace the wires

yall missed the part where he WELDED .and the acid had ate the frame too many electronic parts don't like acid or welding , find a specialist and hope for the best

Yes, I shearch that link and found what I may need to run down the issue... Thanks much.

Thanks much to all, I an aware how the older solenoid system works... The acid only affected the battery lower battery frame so far all the connections look clean and fit well...

I am going to give it one more hour of my time and ship it I have other work that is waiting on me... I only signed up to replace the bats and repair the frame  It about killed me to wiggle those bats in a tight hole I have had my fill of it, if it were mine I would be trading it in on a GAS model...

The newer 48v use hi tech electronic brain box for speed controls, even have regrenative
brakes.
Way above my pay grade. Good luck.
